Thrifty Recessionista: fall palette

according to trend watch, among the top colours this season (fall 2010) are bright red, purple and modern metallic. eye catching colours to really pop out against the dull autumn background.
even though over here it's "summer" all year long, we thought, why not take the fall colour palette, specifically those three colours, and make it our own.
